Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver is an application software for web development. It was originally manufactured by Macromedia. But now it is a product of Adobe who acquired Macromedia in 2005. Dream weaver supports both Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems. The latest versions of Dreamweaver includes suppotrts for Cascaded style Sheets, Java Server Pages, Active Server Pages, PHP etc. The main benefit of Dreamweaver is that a non technical person can also design web pages from this software as the codes details are hide from the user. But it has a disadvantage also. The hided HTML code is very large in comparison to manually designed HTML web page. Thus browser performance becomes poor.

It is an application software for graphics editing. It is also known as a standard software for graphics professionals. Photoshop has three builtin file systems

.PSD - It is the most widely used file format.

.PSB - This file fornat is applicable for very large photoshop documents, generally more than 2 gigabytes.

.PDD - It is generally used for other application softwares.

Besides these three file formats Photoshop can write and read other file formats such as .PNG, .JPEG, .GIF

Traditional Animation Techniques

Cel Animation

This type of animation technique was mainly used in the films of twentieth century. Computer Animation

The use of a digital computer to create the illusion of movement is known as Computer animation. It is of two types.

• Two dimensional animation: In this approach drawings are created with the help of two dimensinal bitmap and vector graphics. Traditional animation techniques such as Morphing, Skining, Twening are used in this type of animation.
• Three Dimensional Animation: It is a mathematical representatin of any object along X, Y, Z coordintes of a plane. Three dimensional animation is generally used to create special efects in movies.
